Travel :: The Grand Hyatt, Kauai

Ever since our family trip to sunny Hawaii four years ago I have been dreaming about the day when I am able to go back, and this time bring Ryan!  We spent ten days on the beautiful island of Kauai, exploring different beaches and towns {Hanalei was my absolute favorite} and relaxing at the Grand Hyatt Kauai.  The hotel spa was absolutely amazing, with open-air showers made of igneous rock covered with pink bougainvillea.  Whenever I am having a stressful day I close my eyes and am instantly back in Kauai, my happy place :)

  1. I went to Hawaii in 7th grade, so needless to say, I've got to go back to enjoy it as an adult as I don't remember much about it! It's such a gorgeous land and all the people are so friendly!!

  14. I'm a little biased to say that anywhere in Hawaii is just absolutely gorgeous! ;) My family is from the west side of Kauai, and spending summers there was always the most fun - it's an island full of adventure!! I'm glad you enjoyed your stay! Hope you had a great Monday, friend!

Gorgeous! I don't think I'll ever make it to Hawaii though unless we move back to the States one day. So far from Abu Dhabi. :(
But Maldives is close...which is a good compromise, right?
