Converted Churches

I absolutely love unique historic spaces, so let's take a look at these two amazing homes in converted churches, shall we?  The first home was a Gothic church from 1870 in Utrecht that was turned into a minimalist contemporary home in 2009.  The latter of the two has a softer, more rustic feel to it which I personally prefer.  What are your thoughts?  Would you be comfortable living in a converted church?

  4. oooh this is so cool! there's an old church in a town where my family vacations twice a year that's been converted into condos. we always say that if we ever see an open house happening there, we need to check it out.
