Paris is Never a Bad Idea

In less than two weeks I will be in the most beautiful city {in my humble opinion} in the world...Paris.  I have been infatuated with Paris for years, and only this summer was able to experience it in person for the first time.  I was honestly a bit apprehensive that the reality would not live up to my insanely high expectations {see definition of "Paris Syndrome" for more details}, however I could not have been more wrong.  It was even better than I had anticipated.  Every single street is more stunning than the last.  The colorful doors, crown moulding galore, Haussmann architecture, the rooftops...everything.  Six days in the City of Light was not enough, and ever since I have been back I have been constantly {borderline psychotically} daydreaming about the city I fell so in love with.

I am so excited to say that I have another opportunity to visit Paris this fall.  I will be going there for over two weeks and am most excited about spending afternoons getting lost along the quiet little streets, then slipping into a cafe to sip cafe creme and eat pain au chocolat.  Some other things I am most looking forward to are going to a cooking class, visiting the Musee Marmottan Monet AND the Musee D'Orsay {for a second time}, wandering around the Parc de BagatelleI and Montmartre with camera in-hand, visiting the infamous Shakespeare & Co., high tea at Angelina, and doing a lot of a little shopping.  I will be of course posting photos of my little journey the whole way through.

Until then, au revoir!
