Travel :: Market Pavilion Hotel - Charleston, SC

If you follow me on Instagram you already know I spent this past weekend in Charleston with my best friend and her mom.  It was my first time in the beautiful city and I think it's fair to say I fell head over heels.  It's just so charming!  I'll be sharing photos of our adventures plus some recommendations over the next week or so, but first things first - our hotel.

We stayed at the Market Pavilion Hotel, a Leading Hotels of the World property, and I can't say enough good things.  The location, decor, and service were perfect.  However the best part about the hotel {asides from the gorgeous lobby bar} was the concierge level lounge.  We visited it every morning for breakfast, afternoon for tea + sweets, evening for champagne + appetizers, and nighttime for hot tea and a cookie.  It was quaint, lovely, and made us feel completely spoiled!

An added bonus was the rooftop bar and the cool {literally} Nitrotini's - cocktails served at -320 degrees F!  I chose the Nitromallow which consisted of Stoli Vanil, Baileys, Frangelico and Butterscotch schnapps with essence of chocolate, graham cracker rim, and Nitromallows.  It came out billowing with fog and made for quite the dramatic nightcap :) All in all it was most definitely the perfect hotel for a girl's getaway!
