In the Kitchen :: Fourth of July Recipes

We're currently in Breckenridge, CO to celebrate the Fourth of July and attend my cousin's wedding in the mountains.  If you're still not sure what you will be making for your Fourth of July festivities, I have rounded up some drool-worthy recipes that will be sure to please a crowd even on the hottest summer days.  Bon appétit!

Playa Del Carmen

Although I have done a lot of traveling lately {France, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, England} there is something so rejuvenating about the classic beach vacation.  While I generally prefer a more active trip, sometimes there is nothing better than spending a week lounging in the sun with a good book and a cocktail.  A couple of years ago my boyfriend, dad, and I went to Playa Del Carmen, Mexico for a week and it was absolutely lovely.  We relaxed by the beach alternating our time between swimming in the crystal clear ocean, napping, drinking pina colodas, snorkeling with sea turtles, snacking on ceviche, and reading.  In September we will be heading to Italy {pinch me!!} but after that it will definitely be time to start planning our next beach holiday :)
