I've followed JCrew menswear Director Frank Muytjens' Instagram account for years without really knowing much about him other than that he has a fantastic eye and an absolutely adorable Vizsla. Today, after taking what seemed like the 100th screen shot of his upstate New York vacation home, I decided I needed to see more. A vintage collector's paradise, I love how every inch of his home feels lived in and special. The layers of fabrics and textures, the ephemera covering nearly every surface, the use of natural elements - all come together to create a space that is truly memorable.

Interiors :: An Eclectic California Home
Last week while perusing Rue Magazine I came across the eclectic California home of Angel and Tom, owners of Nadeau Furniture, the fastest growing furniture company in the United States. The couple turned to Homepolish to help them decorate their Brentwood home on a budget. I love the light and airy color palette {those lilac accents are gorgeous}, feminine furniture, and how bright and open the space is. My one caveat is the taxidermy. I'm just not a fan and feel there are so many other cruelty-free ways to add a rustic masculinity to a space. However, those french doors in the living room? SWOON!

Interiors :: An Industrial Chic LA Home
I think it's safe to say that I'm absolutely in love with Amy Walker and Reid Carolin's 1920's Los Angeles home. The stylish couple worked with interior designer Sally Breer to create the perfect balance of masculinity and femininity. I love the muted color palette paired with more edgy pieces, but my favorite element of the house has to be that gorgeous zinc bar. Read more about the beautiful home in Domaine.
