Ryan and I spent a few days in Paris over the holiday season, and it was pure magic. It was my fourth time to the City of Light and every time I return I seem to fall more and more in love with the city. We stayed at the beautiful Grand Hotel Du Palais Royal and, having already been to most of the popular tourist destinations on other trips, we didn't feel pressured to try to fit everything into our four days.
We visited some amazing restaurants {David Toutain, Le Comptoir du Relais, and L'Epigramme being a few of our favorites}, spent time wandering our favorite parks {Place des Vosges, Jardin des Tuileries, and Luxembourg gardens}, strolled through Le Marais and Saint Germain des Pres, and visited one of our favorite museums {Musée de l'Orangerie}. Our best couple friends, Sara and Scott, decided at the last minute to meet us in Paris which made the trip that much more special. On New Year's Eve we headed to Le Grand Colbert for dinner, drinks, and dancing, and concluded the evening with champagne and music on our hotel's terrace overlooking the city - it was perfect.
