Can a home have too many built-in bookshelves? When you're a collector like me, the answer is absolutely not! Although our Victorian cottage has loads of character, since the day we moved in I've dreamt of having built-ins installed in our living and dining rooms.
I love the visual interest that built-ins add to a home. They create dimension, draw the eye upward, add much needed architectural detail, and are a great opportunity to display your favorite books, art, and decorative objects.
